What is the Requirement?

ISO 9001 is a standard published by the International Organization for Standardization titled “Quality Management Systems – Requirements”. This standard is a non-industry specific certification and is intended for any organization that wants to implement and maintain a quality management system. Certifications are issued by third party certifying bodies. For an organization to maintain ISO 9001 certification, they will be subjected to annual or regularly scheduled where the organization’s compliance with the standard is evaluated by the certifying body.
