Brief on coaxial rf test socket

SMC is a threaded connection, other similar to SMB, with a wider frequency range, and is often used in military or high-vibration environments.

The n-type connector is a threaded type, uses air as an insulating material, has a low cost, and has a frequency of rg405 11 GHz. It is commonly used in test instruments, and has 50 and 75 ohms.

The RF test socket needs regular maintenance.
